Eyes of Forever

The eyes of forever I see within you.
More than just a passing moment,
In your heart there lives eternity.

Do you find it hard to believe
That in the touch of another
So much completion can be so?

Charity of soul so often rare,
Flows as effortlessly from this loving place,
As the clouds sail the summer's sky.

Soul's companion,
Soul's completion,
In the soft light of the evening's glow,
Share these whispers of love's desire.

Sing softly and sweetly
That which these hearts
So dearly wished and longed for.

Words falling from lips divine,
Searching a lifetime for fulfillment,
For this moment,
For this place,

Should a heart's destiny end thus,
Surrendering to peace,
Submitting to joy,
Sacrificing one's self,

To let another know this soul.
So great the fears of this path.

Naked and exposed,
Standing open,

Vulnerable,
Praying that the strength is found,
To know this journey's closing.
